Next Tournament?

So I've noticed that the Forums are lacking anything fun and I'm thinking it's time for another tournament...

Mulch?

Let's hear what you have to say. I'll run another tournament over the next few weeks and we'll see what kind based on your reactions.

2v2 concmaps are great...I'm down for that.  Some OvD type matches might be cool too.

Two questions here...

Would the 2v2 be matches and an elimination tournament, or whoever posted the best times..?

For OvD, we'd have to come up with some teams! What size were you thinking?

If we do a 2v2 concmap challenge...I vote for heads-up elimination mode...that is how those maps are designed.  Racemaps include concspirit_r, conc_2v2, conc_2v2_two, esad_raceconc, conc_2v2_hi, and esad_raceconc2 roughly ordered in increasing difficulty (I think; its been awhile since I've played some of these).  There is also srace_b4d but it is for soldiers and demos using god/quad.  I know there are other racemaps but I can't think of them; maybe someone else knows of some more.

If we did OvD I'd suggest something similar to IRC gathers where first one team is defense other is offense, then they switch after the time limit.  For example, 4v4 with 20 minute rounds.

I vote for the elimination mode , too. If those maps're very difficult for the someones. I could make a new easy 2v2 racing map for them when I'm free.

quad_2v2 is good map for the sollies. If it is possible quad racing.

Might be fun to put everyone's name in a hat and randomly select four or five 2 man teams and play a few 2v2 maps round robin style. 2small2push, coast2, mulch_faf are a few good ones that come to mind.

If there's going to be another sniper tournament, then I guess i'll be ready for that again...

Hopefully there's going to be more than 10 players in this tournament and that non-EVIL members will participate (I heard Nuggs wanted to participate). It'd be more interesting to see more participators.
Good thing we don't have Sun-Tzu in the clan, he wouldn't score a single kill as a sniper.



Also, i'm not sure how much you can spend on it but why not do some prizes for the TOP 3? Last year, ill4death did sprays for the TOP 3.
