Hello, I was recently permabanned by Clicker Hero (-[EVIL]- Chapu) for "Using other player nicks and admin disrespect." (http://bans.esclan.net/ban_detail.php?id=STEAM_0:0:59925889). I know that there IS a reason for this ban, but I would like to point out that the first two reasons are, in my opinion, wrong.
The first reason is "using other player nicks". I did use ShouldBeNew's nick for a while (I think that was for a joke) before he got in EVIL. I checked the current rules, and it says "[No Impersonating]   Pretending to be a player is not only weird, it's wrong.". However, I used ShouldBeNew's nick when using another person's nick wasn't prohibited yet.
The second reason is "admin disrespect". I honestly don't think I disrespected any admin, I did disrespect ShouldBeNew, but he's not an Admin but a Clan Member.
However there is a third reason for the ban, not shown on the official Ban Reason, and this one is true. I did disrespect ShouldBeNew, but this was just part of a game, sure a stupid game, but just a game. If I really wanted to get rid of SBN, or get him banned, I wouldn't have just made fun of him.
Sometimes I tend to forget the rules and cross the line between a "game" and offensive remarks. However, things such as a ban like this make me remember that I exaggerated, and while 3 days after the ban I feel sorry for what happened, I think that it could be a bit too late. However, it is up to you to decide what is the right thing to do.

Time for me to start posting on this thread. First of all the last time you used the name ShouldBeNew was on 2015-02-01 11:38:59 in which in February i already was a clan member. It is true that the rules weren't the same before but impersonating someone at that time was still wrong. Secondly the "admin disrespect" part, i have no idea why you got banned for that but as far as i know you hated Chapu for some reason.
Thirdly, yes you did disrespect me but not with many offensive words but you insulted me with "noob" and your friends insulted me with these:
"traitor" "shut up sbn" -Starilirious (Pakistani player)
"retard" -Enderman/bloxman41
"u sux arse lel" -GLaDOS/Masked Man (Portugese)
And then you have this http://steamcommunity.com/groups/nosbn "say no to ShouldBeNew" group. However i have no idea why there are some members in that group that don't even play TFC.
And then you have this ManWithaNewPlan (Condensation Man) guy which each time he joins a server says "hi sbn" and most of the times goes scout, runs around and gets killed and before when i still had him as a friend he even kept saying "my score is bad i'm trying hard to be best" or whatever he was saying. Your friend Condensation Man more likely talks and even trolls rather than plays.

Overall, if you and your friends stop offending me then you can get unbanned but Chapu must make this decision too since he banned you.

 ShouldBeNew. Please leave me out of this. I always say "hi" to you and i always will. I say "hi" to others as well. As to my gameplay...mind your own business. I do not knowingly break server rules and never will.
Maybe If you didnt take so much time off from tfc every time you have an emotional hissy fit   others would not joke with you so much. Thats all it is...jokes.
Now lets get along and move past this.

I'm glad to see you are familiar with our Rules (Also available on ALL server in spanish by saying !reglas in chat) however, the rule that you have 'broken' in this instance has been around since 2007, granted we did not care as much about those outside of our clan, we are a family and you are our guests in our humble castle. Act too weird and we will have some guards escort you out.

I'm actually really glad you brought this up, while it does say 'admin disrespect' you are contesting the fact that it wasn't an admin you were disrespecting. Okay so what do you want me to do? Have Chapu fix the typo because you have just proven to us that you DID break a rule? under the 'Laws of the Land' section of the rules are placed some new "rules" that shouldn't even be required, but were added because too many people were hating on each other. Why can't we all just get along?


Bonus Round

I wasn't going to get involved, but then someone posted some links that lead to this in the admin forums, there is no GOOD reason to make a group to show your hate/anger towards an individual user, when I see things like that it instantly makes me wonder what malicious intent the users in the group have, and how many players need to receive a permanent ban to make sure anyone who even THINKS of involving themselves with this group will be sure to think twice about the repurcussions. Do you really want to lose access to some of the last remaining populated TFC servers simply because you don't like a guy?

I'm going to be nice and only say that you should stop playing this "game" if you want to continue to play the ACTUAL game.

CondensationMan, just from reading your post I can see that problems are going to arise with you.  How long until we are back here discussing YOUR ban?


On a final note, since the original 'group' that got me involved has been 'disbanded' (hopefully) I have decided to leave this decision up to chapu, but be warned if I see another group targetting an individual player (especially if its one that is in the clan) I will not hesitate to make sure that at the very least the ring leaders get their permanent vacation from TFC.
