Juicy J -We TriPpY MaNe-

Holy fuck, where do i start. Music is my life. I picked up my first acoustic guitar about 12 years ago. I first learned by playing by ear and eye with my brother "Every Rose has it's thorn" by Poison and "Come as you are" by Nirvana. soon as i got my first electric guitar the first year, I fell in love playing songs by Switchfoot and even saw them in concert in my state around 2006. around that time I was in middle school, i explored all kinds of music, screaming metal (Bullet for my valentine, Slipknot, Korn), rap (ICP, Lil Wayne- Fireman), pop punk (greenday, blink 182, sum 41), electronic (Zombie nation by Kerncraft).

I began to  learn other songs on my own like Smells like Teen Spirit (Nirvana) to Hammer to fall (Queen)-the latest. after that phase, i kinda took a break from guitar, got bored, learned too much things, and it got boring playing the same stuff i learned over and over. Until, my brother introduced me to Pink Floyd, I just fell in love with their music, in particular the piece that got me playing my guitar again was "Time" from Dark side of the Moon album. This solo sounded so amazing to me the first time and I just had to learn it. soon after i learned "Time" i learned the rest of Pink Floyd's master piece albums. I listened to Floyd like every day, and every time I would get stoned, I put on some Floyd. Then, i wanted to see what the songs really meant and what they were actually saying. After finding out, this made their work even more epic.

After that phase, came Led Zeppelin. Robert plant is a great singer, and Jimmy Page is a damned good guitarist, I Learned Rock n Roll from the Mothership album, and listened to their works excessively as well. My latest Phase for classic rock, is Queen. Now, i've only been familiar with Queen's popular songs like Another one bites the dust, champions, Bohemian Raphsody, ect. I fell in love with Queen as well once I heard Radio Gaga, You don't fool me, Killer Queen, and Love of my life. Freddy Mercury is/was an amazing singer, he's definitely up there with Robert Plant. Brian Mays, amazing soloist, he's an fucking Astrophysicist too.

This all may be out of order but screw it. I started to like the Pop songs when I would go to my High School Dances. Now, not so much anymore. I love Phantom of the Opera, and other musical operas. I saw POTO in London, 2010. I was in choir my first two years of high school, so thats why singing is so appealing to me.

I love movie soundtracks as well, John Williams (Star Wars, Harry Potter, Jaws, Jurassic Park, Saving Private Ryan), Hanz Zimmerman (New Batmans, Inception, Pirates of the Caribbean), Danny Elfman (Beetlejuice, first batman, edward scissorhands, Pee-Wee), Ennio Morricone (The Good, Bad and Ugly, Few Dollars more, Fistful of Dollars, Once upon a time in the west), John Carpenter (Halloween, Escape from New York, Vampires, Christine, Village of the Damned, Assault on Precinct 13, The Fog, Prince of Darkness, They Live).  Okay, Ill do electronic first, then rap.

The first electronic song I heard was at a Seattle Mariner's baseball game, it was the Space Jam Theme. I kinda heard that theme alot a sports games. so then I ventured into further electronic like Eiffel 65, Daft Punk, then Basshunter (a.k.a Eurodance), then ventured into the Trance genre, then hard trance (Alphazone, Cosmic Gate, Accuface, ect.), then i listened to Deadmau5 for the first time, and was like hes alright until i heard "Strobe". Im not too sure on Dubstep now, haven't listened to enough of it. Zomboy, Knife Party, and Savant are pretty notable artists though. The thing that gets me going for electronic music is the Synth and the type Melody its projecting.

Rap, the first modern rap song iv'e heard and downloaded a bit, was Fireman by Lil wayne, then i checked out 50 cent, Eminem, Fat joe, Three six mafia, 2pac, snoop dogg, and Insane Clown Posse and others. what got me into the modern type rap, was riding with my friends in high school they bumped Waka Flocka flame(Hard in the Paint), who, i got into, then Wiz Khalifa(Black and Yellow), then Rick Ross(B.M.F), then back to Snoop Dogg (mainly his new Reincarnated Album) then Juicy J(Medicated song by Wiz Khalifa Featuring Chevy Woods, and Juicy J).

Now, I just listen to anything (Rage against the Machine, Smashing Pumpkins, Foo fighters, Tenacious D., The Offspring, and many more), ill occasionally re-visit Pink Floyd, Queen, Led Zeppelin, ect. Im willing to try anything new, sorry this is a long post, but I love my music so much, both hearing and playing it.

were going to have to limit your post to just 4 words ........

Minky

Haha, his post started out okay with the background story still pertaining to music, but then he went on as if it became a dating site and he had to describe himself.

Anyways, I too like most of the songs he named except the rap category, I grew up a hip hop kid whilst still enjoying music from 30's-90's from Mexico, America, and partial UK(most of it is hip hop from 90's 00's and today.)

I want to share this song that I listen to most currently but I want to share the lyrics as I feel it wont be fully understood unless they're here to be read.

I gotta pardon you, what
Trying to say life is a path to a box
Am I guessing Armageddon
Just tarnished the rock
Regardless it spins
Dance or plot
Try heal the pain
Like Arnica does
But when that don't
Yeah hard liquor does
I said hard liquor does
They say that the come down's
Part of the buzz
It's self-destructive
At the heart of the rush
We all want a
Person to love
Person to trust
Person to jump
Over hurdles with us
And I've found that person
I'm certain it's love
I ain't gonna stay searching
Or yearning with lust
While clutching a pain
That remains in my gut
How can I do that?
Brain would erupt
Gotta live life
Till my frame won't budge
How can I look down?
When I gotta aim up
Like jet planes
Heading into space from da crust
Face of the man
In the seat stays fearless
Vacate the mainstream
Stay with the realness
Do this for life
No mistake I'm serious
Like a blade in the heart
In the dark, put fear in us
Creeping nearly rearing
Near to us
Breaths on my neck
Feel sheer mysterious
Here's turned weird
Echos feel the eeriness
Sound of the voiceless
I dream they're hearing us
I dream they're here
With an open ear for us
Downed like vodka
Things ain't as clear as it
Yet I'm watching fearless
Life's mysterious
Holding tight to the wheel
That's steering it
Ain't nuttin like me
Ain't nuttin like you
Cause everybody's different
Gotta stay clued to the instincts
We could all die in an instant
Won't live life as a prisoner
Rival the system
Lips speak code on the phone
That's wisdom
Man are getting tapped
Like spliff ends
Burning the candle
At both ends drifting
So I'm pissed with the piff
And a Rizla with griz in
Missing the days
When we were just kids 'n
Man it's all so far from this
What happened
To fun without drugs
And how come everyone
Fucks but don't love
And why mans gotta be acting unjust
When they ain't nothing more
Than a man that just fronts
Got the flows robust
When I open it up
Cold blood thrown up
On the road froze up
No luck got stuck
So what I'm cut
Like blunts with the punk
No trust that's us
Clutch rough to the stuff
That's makes us fucked
See facts face up
In the rate race bruv
Bust traps trace back
To the place now dust
Burnt down to the ground
Whilst trying to build up
