Going into TBL I didn't really know what we were up against. I knew that alot of the old guard TFC players were going to be back but really didn't know how insane it was gonna get. Onslaught was on our side so I felt alot better about the Defense. And with bishop on offense, how can u go wrong?
The first game of the season was a bye week for us.
So we began practicing up on jager_beta1 and played our first game against sT4CK for week 2. My meds knocked me out that morning and missed the match! But it really was the complete slaughter everyone said it would be - losing 320-80 (against the best team in the league).

That's when i realized TBL wasn't just bunch of old guys getting back into TFC. Maybe halfway. But the other half of TBL was people who had apparently played pickup matches for the last 15 years.
They had orchestrated an entire league around making the game as fast as possible. The format was basically 6v6 throughout, with all open flag rooms, defense limited to 3 guys and 1 mirv class.
Our week 3 match was against OST on evenflow_lg.
A big victory for EVIL and felt more like the old days.

My contribution was all on Defense playing Engi this season.
But was fun to get back into competitive TFC despite the huge skill gap.
And with next season being 9v9, we will definitely need all the help we can get if we're gonna be able to compete.
