I've been playing on and off on this server for years. Playing scout today and got banned just playing my normal way.
your normal way was dropping calthrops in front of spawn. you were warned, kicked came back and did it all again. Not the first time either.
I did not know dropping caltrops was illegal. I would have stopped but I did not see anyone asking me too. Did not realize i was kicked, I've been lagging so much I disconnect all the time. I play with es clan members all the time first time i've had a problem.

Dropping caltrops is generally fine, even as you run by the enemy spawn. If you are dropping all your caltrops on the enemy exit, it may be perceived as trolling.
