For me, it's Tactical Ops, and after, half life 1 and cs 1.6
Quake 2 and Half-Life 1 and 2 when I was 7 years old
Counter-Strike, Half-Life, then TFC
Quake 1 and 2. Then it was Half-Life. And those remain the only FPS games where I have beaten the story-line part.
Doom

My 1st fps was Red Faction, awesome game!
Star Wars Dark Forces followed by Star Wars Jedi Knight followed by TFC.
And if you play these games now, what is the best game, oldschool games or newgen games ? For me it's oldschool :p 2much nostalgia :3
I play both, but mostly old school games
Does Decent count as a FPS?
LOL
Decent was ridiculously hard to control... I would consider it an old school FPS. Just because it's flying a ship around a 3d world should make it NOT count... You are shooting multiple targets, in a first person view!
Assuming you played the game from the first person view...
