Post by: Saleen219 on October 07, 2010, 06:52:40 PM
Ive been running Seti@home on my system for 10 years now, and  folding for 3. Anyone else here use their systems idle time to fold/crunch for science?

Using your computer idle time to run programs in the background. One computer in itself cant account for much but when you have a million people doing this it basically turns all those computers into a super computer.

Running these programs helps with finding cures to diseases, running climate predictions models, heck - there are a lot of different things out there you can help with.
