Fun/Adventure Server woes

I was trying to connect earlier to the fun/adventure server but it seems to fail each time my clien tries to download a map.  Is this a known issue?  Server seems to not want to transmit the files for download.

The map on the server was esk_escape

You should download the wad file manually. (Type in your browser 'download esk.wad' then find a website to download.)
Do not forget to move the file your (Steam/steamapps/'username' or common/tfc)
