I strongly suspect wallhack and aimbot after spectating "Ado" when sniping. Guy always knows which exact blind area to throw nades, tracks players through opaque walls, and gets constant kill shots even when people pop out of the most random places.
Did you record a demo?
I have seen the same things. But don't play on the same servers with him all the time. Seen him on gimmpys doing it also.

Ya im unsure on ado, i know he's good, but sometimes its a little too good. Both from a playing with/against him and specing him point of view ive seen some pretty interesting moments.
Na i think hes legit. Hes been arround for almost 2 decades and over time hes been a decent sniper. Players and playstyles evolve and people get in the flowstate. Dodgy things happen then.
I think part of the OPs issue is he always knows where you are. No matter the map or what you try he seems to know. You can go up ramps 5 times then go a different way and there he is. That adds to the amazing shots.

Have to agree with sincie here. Shady maybe but I've never seen anything concrete that made me think hax for real. Most likely a combo of experience, l33t binds and computer setup with headphones. Don't forget battlezone enables footsteps, so those with headphones and perhaps louder sound files can track players better than others.
Ado is just good, I dont think he hacks either, he is pretty good on close range combat, but I do pretty good against him on long range in 2fort, he is cool.
I agree with xheon, but i DO question that "Nuggs" character. I mean somedays I can kill him pretty easy with 4 emps and an SG, then other days when Im playing scout he destroys me....:::church lady voice:::: just seeems a leeeeeeeeedle convenient!

Not a hacker at all, just really good at sniper. His only weakness is the crowbar, he is unable to refuse a challenge.
People always accuse him of walling/aimbot/triggerbot because they are upset they have to fight a real vet who has probably spent thousands of hours on this little old game.

Gimpy, I'm not an admin anymore and I do regret everything i did. This is a 20 year old game, I was not familiar of TFC game mechanics and did not realize the first person view of a spectator can't correctly follow the view of the player being spectated. I thought he was acting weird and I banned him during the heat of the action.

I used to think ado cheated his ass off. I still get frustrated as hell with him and trash talk him but he knows Im just bustig his balls. I asked Gimpy about him quite sometime ago and his advice was "watch him play, SPam, just watch how he plays". SO I did. I watched him do what Guts, Klumy, Bishop, Goldym Harley, meow, brah, and others that frustrate me. But I watched it like a spectator instead of a suspicious asshat. What I saw was a guy that knows the map like the back of his hand that can get to max speed on a auto bhop server with trimp and no speed caps. Ado doesn't know where you are he just knows where ANY player will have to be to come after him, or to go cap a flag. So of course there he is EVERY effing time you turn around. Add to that his ability to stop aim and jack yo ass up on a dime and..VOILA! Mystery solved. I apologized to him the next time I saw him. Now what makes me suspicious of snipers is the Dragonite and Whitebunny ability to head shot me in the water when he is on sniper deck or he head shots me from UNDER water while I am leaving sniper deck. No arguing that. Ado has never done that to me on 2fort or anywhere else. Hope this helps.

Also for those who are unaware you can type "status" in console and it will bring up the steam id of every player currently in the server. If they have have six digit or less steam id, chances are they don't hack but instead have been playing for 20 years and know the game inside and out (ado)

this was terrible advice ten years ago and just as bad now, in most cases you can still find 6 and 7 digits for $30, relatively cheap to get away as a veteran, don't ever judge a book by its cover, why not just assume cheats based on what you see rather than some arbitrary number used to identify you.....
I have no idea if Ado is legit or not, I'm certainly not qualified to make that determination. I'm assuming he's just very good. What I know is I've seen him empty of the server more than once as people become frustrated with him. Some people are really good, but you can still play the game around him. He's really good and it's very easy to become frustrated with him. Maybe capping the speed on the server might help this a little? Not sure, I guess I'm just here to complain!

I pwn ado. I have killed him at least 6 times in the last month and only 4 of those were by accident or spammimg!
keep in mind i dont really know anyone well enough to call them a hacker so this is just my two cents on the topic...
but it is 100% possible to cheat and hack without going noticed, me and my friend used to do it all the time on cs 1.6.., I never once used hacks on tfc though

There it is. With his ping he charges the rifle really fast gets a second and at times a third kill faster than most can get 1 kill

Look at top10 in ranking.
Ado (nr8) has 56% accuracy and ? (nr10) has 60%.
Rest of the top10 players are between 30-40% and som just over 40%.
Is he that good compared to the rest of the top 10 players?
Does he have that good aim compared to the other players on top10?
Sincie is one of them, and he has good aim but much lower accuracy than Ado.
Ado plays spy alot. I think that people who play spy and are generally better players contributes significantly to higher accuracy ratings. The better spies tend to knife/tranq only so you figure that they are only swinging their knife when they're in melee range so it's almost always making contact.
He plays sniper more than anything else.
Ive known he was a good player yet still had some doubts. Watched him play med teh other day and it settled any doubts i had. The guys just good. Everyone get over it lol.

so because he was a medic that means he don't hack. A good hacker can toggle hacks on and off really easy and fast.
My two cents, though I'm no expert, the guy was getting a ridiculous amount of consecutive head shots yesterday
@schuff my implication was that everyone is talking about his sniping skills but nobody has mentioned his skill while playing other classes. His skill as a med was on par with teh best of players on teh server. His concing, strafing etc, not talking about his accuracy but just his skill at using the class.
I dont now of any hacks(there could be) that know where/how you want to conc or that control your mid-air strafing so naturally I assume its his skill level.
Basically just trying to say he's not Just a good sniper, he can play all teh classes very well which after witnessing removed any doubts i had about him.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion but im decided. =)

Quite possibly it might base that on more recent activity than his overall total usage, however my theory would still carry over to sniper rifle. what helps him as far as the knife goes he can speed b-hop which helps him get fast kills as a spy. Take away the speed b-hop his spy skills will drop. Watch how fast he gets a second shot off as sniper with accurate kills. His ping is to high to recharge as fast as he does. I've seen him get 3 sniper kills back to back more than once with very little time to charge a rifle to kill full health people including HWs.
Spec him, take a video, and point out where he is cheating. Gimpy issued that challenge to me. It settled the case. No mysterious water headshots no repeated shots when he shouldn't know where you are. No 180 headshots. Also, as Gimpy pointed out soince people have complained about his sniping he has been playing mostly spy and still waxing ALL of our asses. The guy is just damned good.
It never feels good to acknowledge your own shortcomings but I have played against most of you and most of you are better than me but not that good. People like Cookie, Guts, Ado, Goldy and Klumy have simply perfected their craft. Ever play offense against Harley on D? She is just better. I am sure there are things I can do better than they but TFC isn't one of them. And you know what...that's ok cuz this is a video game and a old ass one at that. Relax and have fun, I had to change my password because someone that works for me started playing and he can't stand to lose or be not good.

Pretty sure ado/ryu played for the one of the best EU clans of all time, back when TFC was in its hey-dey. And unlike almost everyone from back then, he still plays. He's just very good. Pretty strange to see admins/mods especially throwing accusations around without evidence.
One more thing to add here, if you die by ado its your own fault. The sniper's job is to kill people who are out in the open from a distance. Take the scenic route, get behind enemy lines and flank the sniper. Ado may be a good sniper but he won't stand a chance against a soldier or hwguy at close range.
Just learn how to play, keep in mind the definition of insanity is doing the exact same thing over and over expecting a different result, if you get headshot by a sniper while you're fully exposed, you should probably try to minimize your exposure and then maybe you won't get picked off by campers.
As dev1ce said, if you think ryu is cheating, record a demo, point out strange things with timestamps, and then make your accusations. As I said, if its ado, just pull out your crowbar at close range and he is instantly de-nutted.
