High Ping

Why do i get kicked for High Ping? Does it hurt the server? Is there any way to fix it?

Now seriously:

You get kicked for high ping because it provides a terrible gaming experience for others. If your ping is high enough, all other players will see is you teleporting around and even owning them in some cases because they can't see you move so you kill them before they can kill you.

It does not hurt the server.

Only way to fix it is to move closer to the server (Dallas, Texas) or get a much much faster internet connection.

Try change your rates
Put this in console(One at a time):
rate 25000
cl_cmdrate "101"
cl_updaterate "101"
If don't work, try increase your internet speed
or try another server near where you live
